Elysium
is a word derived from Greek mythology describing a land of
perfect happiness. According to the owners, Kevin Hornik and
Brian Heil, they are eager to create an environment that will
make their members feel like it is the perfect place to play
tennis for all those in Columbus, or in all of Central Ohio.

Winter
2010 Junior Compass Showdowns for Boys and Girls 10, 12, 14,
16, 18's. \
Elysium Tennis Club hosted the 2009 Ohio State High
School Girls Tennis Championships on Friday and Saturday the 23rd
and 24th of October. Due to inclement weather the entire state championships
were held inside on the new courts at Elysium.
In
the hot competition of Division I singles, Niki Flower put the pedal
to the metal and brought home the championship big iron. Niki is
as dominant a player to come along as there has been in quite a
while, going the entire season without losing a set. Alex Power
also played some huge tennis and finished fourth, to giving Elysium
two of the top four women in Ohio in Division I singles. Way to
go Niki and Alex, we are very proud of you!!!!
In
Division II, the incredible Li sisters, Kim My and My Linh, captured
the doubles crown, playing like tigers and capping a terrific season.
Rachael Morales lost a tough 3 setter in the singles semifinals,
and then stormed back big time to take third place in the Division
II singles competition. Great job ladies, you make us proud!!!

sides, unless there are some big hitting women that want to whop
up on the old guys. If there is enough interest, we will add more
days of the week for play.

and $10 for each of the 2 hour sessions. You may join for one month
